At first we thought about how we couldn't make an odd number. Then we thought about how to do a fraction and we thought that 4/4 is 1. So 4/4+4+4=9 so we got a whole number. Then we thought how we would get 2 because it is smaller than 4. then we thought about 4/4+4/4=2. We tried to find other number sentences that would give you 2 but we couldn't find any others.
examples that we used: 4/4+4+4=9 and 4/4+4/4=2
