Teaching Averages Using Rich Tasks - Upper Primary

In the webinar, we offered ways of supporting learners' conceptual understanding of mean average, and we worked on the task Hunting for Averages, which not only supports children's understanding, but also offers a meaningful context in which to become more fluent with calculating the mean.
