When i first started, i straight away got interested in the F and H sets, as they have similar properties. As i have always known the properties of 0 and 1, and how they react with different unknowns. After a few minutes of workings out and careful thinking, i could confidentiality say that the red triangle equaled 0 and the yellow diamond equaled 1.
The next set that caught my eye was the set C, (rectangle)^2 was a green 9-pointed star. Such star occurred only once in this problem so that must have been an odd number that was bigger than 6 (square, of course),the only number that matched that description was 9, and so you could easily find the value of the Blue Rectangle (3).
After that i turned to the next square set of unknowns, set D. The only other square that is less than 12 is 2^2 or 4.
