Well I decided that there is no possible way to use "4" as a number by it's self so I focused and thought that I would use 44 (which equals two 4's)

I know my 12 times tables and the closest number to 44 was 48 (which you numbers 4 by 12 to equal that answer). So I added 4 to equal 48 (I am now up to three 4's) and divided that by 4 which got me to 12...
