I first worked out that I did 8 x 9 which is 72. I then submitted this as I knew that no other combinations would be closer, and if 8 or 9 were 90 or 80, it would be too far from the target of 100. I also knew that 0 couldn’t be the multiplier as anything times 0 is 0.
