The numbers I was given were 1,2, and 3. I first tried to get as close to 50 as possible as I knew 50 x 2 is the target or 100. So I tried 31 x2 which got me 62. To make the outcome bigger and therefore closer to the target, I did 21 x 3, which got me 63. I also eliminated the possibility of 1 being the multiplier, as anything times one is itself. There fore the answer is 21 x 3.
