The numbers I was given was 8,8,0, and 5. I then tried 88+50 but it equalled 138 which was way too out of range and far from the target 100. I then tried to make one of the numbers smaller to get it closer to the target, therefore changing 50 to 05 (or just 5) getting me 93. And as the difference is a single digit, I went for 88+05 which equalled 93.
