The largest multiple of 3 is 9987. I thought I could try with a large number like 9988 but it isn't a multiple of 3, so I look at my sum and I decided to put a 7 in the units instead of 8 and it divided into 3 3329 times.
the smallest multiple of 5 was 0015. I went through the 5 times tables, I started with 0005 and 0010 but I only had 2 zeros so I tried 0015 which I could do.
the closed number to 5000 is 5001. I tried 4999 but I can't do that because I have only got two 9's. So I tried 5001 which I can make with the numbers I have.
