4-(4÷4)×4=12

4×4-(4÷4)=15

4×4+4-4=16

4÷4+(4×4)=17

4+4-4-4=0

4÷4+4-4=1

4×4÷(4+4)=2

4+4+4÷4=3

4-4×4+4=4

4×4+4÷4=5

4+4÷4+4=6

4+4-(4÷4)=7

4+4×4÷4=8

4÷4+4+4=9

4×4-4-√4=10

First I worked out how to get 16 by doing 4×4 then I added 4 and took away 4. I later worked out I could just add 4 four times. Then I got 5 by chance and from that I could just put a calculation in and moved them around to make the other numbers. I stayed for ages on 12 but then I realised you could use brackets.

I got all the numbers apart from 10 and spent a whole lesson on it. Then I went home and with my friend we worked out three different ways and took then to school.
