I am doing the shady symmetry. I am using the 3 by 3 square grid.
You can make 9 symmetry solutions just using 1 cell by putting them in 1 square each time so that will equal 9 times. If youput it into the top left box it will symmetrise diagonally, if you put it into the top middle box it will symmetrise straight through the middle, if you put it into the top right box it will symmetrise diagonally, if you do it into the middle line on the most left it will symmetrise through the middle leftways, if it is inthe most centre it can symmetrise upwards, downwards, left ways and right ways, if it is placed on the middle left it can symmetrise throught the middle rightways.etc.
You can make 8 symmetry solutions just using 2 cells by putting them into the middle box and the top middle box, putting it into the middle box and the left middle box, putting it into the middle box and the middle right box, putting it into the middle box and the bottom middle box, putting it into the top left box and the middle box, putting it into the top right box and the middle box, putting it into the bottom left box and the middle box, putting it into the bottom right box and the middle box. The solution is that if you put it into the top middle box and the middle box it will symmitrise upwards through the middle, if you put it into the middle right box and the middle box it will symmetrise throught the middle right ways, if you put it into the bottom middle box and the middle box ti will symitrise through the middle downwards, if you put it into the middle left box it will symmetrise through the middle left ways.
