If you add any 3 consecutive numbers together it will always equal a multiple of 3, e.g, 1+2+3=6, 2+3+4=,9 3+4+5=12, 6=1+2+3, 12=3+4+5, 18=5+6+7, 24=7+8+9, 30=9+10+11, 36=11+12+13, 42=13+14+15
Every multiple of 3 can be divided into 3 parts. So 3 3rds, and lets say u have 3 of the same number
(e.g 2, 2, 2 which = 6 which is a multiple of 3) then 2, 2, 2 can be changed into 1, 2, 3 by taking away 1 from the first 2 and adding 1 onto the 2nd 2
Does it work with other multiples?
Does it work with only odd or even numbers?
What would happen if you added 6 consecutive numbers together?
