I used letters to represent the unknown values of the cards, and then followed the sequence by spelling out the numbers. At the end of each number spelling, this indicated what that particular letter represented.
I started with: a, b, A, d, e, f, g, h, k, l, m, n, o (Knowing that the thrid letter would be the end of spelling out A-C-E.
Then, considering that a and b would now ba the back (and A would be out of the pack), the following line followed as: d, e, 2, g, h, k, l, m, n, o, a, b (knowing that the third letter would this time be the end of T-W-O. Therefore, f = 2.
I followed the sequence through, spelling out each number and remembering to take out solved numbers and put all other unknowns to the back of the sequence once again. Once you know what each letter represents, you can put the card values in what was previously alphabetical order.
The correct order is Q, 4, A, 8, K, 2, 7, 5, 10, J, 3, 6, 9.
