To find the magic v you need to find the difference betwen the smallest and highest number the numbers you are going to use for example 2-6 the difference is even. If the difference is even put an even number for the base or if it is odd number you put an odd number for the base then fill in the gaps but you need to put the highest number on one side and put the lowest number on the same side as the highest number.
