To the best of my knowledge, there are TWO and only TWO solutions.
Here is what I did:
I realized that there was more than one solution since there were several ways to arrive at each of the sums using addition. I eliminated some smaller numbers right away, realizing the smallest numbers (one , two, three, four) wouldn't work.
My possibilities were very limited then.
After making my first correct set of numbers, I realized the first card was the most important. I went through each number, starting with one (just to be sure) and this is what I found:
8, 7, 13, 10, 6, 12, 9
6, 9, 11, 12, 4, 14, 7
Nothing else seems to work! Only starting with 8 and 6 works.
