my method to find out number 1 was that cats have 4 legs because they walk on 4 legs and for number 2 about the spider i said 8 legs some spiders do have less then 8 legs or more then 8 legs but most spiders have 8 legs. for number 3 i said birds have 2 legs because scientifically nearly all birds have 2 legs,and for the snake i said no legs because snakes move around with there body they dont have any arms or legs.for number 5 i said about the insect that insects have 6 legs because if you take an ant or an ladybird they are insects and they have 6 legs.for number 6 i said crabs have 8 legs because you do not count the crabs claws because they are not the crabs legs.
so there are my solutions and my explanations.
