the sum of the rectangles, divided by two, is equal to the sum of the circles. We will refer to the first circle as x. the two rectangles (being called; a and b) connected to the circle must be added together, then 2x must me subtracted, this gives us the 3rd rectangle (c).
a + b - x - x = c
simplified to: a+b - 2x = c
this is the same as: a+b - c = 2x
so now we know what 2x is (a+b - c) we can divide it by 2 and find x. this process must be repeated for the other 2 circles.
