My solution is to start with 3, then the AI will pick either 1, 2 ,3 or 4, once the AI has done there move you make the number 8 by adding 1. Now the AI can't win, now that it's on 8,then you repeat this pattern to make the AI be on these 2 numbers 13, or 18, as there is no possible way to lose. If you start with 3 you will automatically win.
