I did digit addition and it was super fun finding the solution and a fun way to understand math promblems.I agree with Jonas because 7+9=16 and the two digets that make up 16 is 1+6 and 1+6 = 7 which is the first number that I added to 9.When you add two numbers together you also add together the numbers you end up with and that will be your final answer. It was a very fun activity and I recommend trying it and seeing how it goes you can also do it with a partner which makes it funner if you do it together and it will feel satersfying figuring the answer.
