Sam: The time that Sam wakes up and the time that he goes to school should be close together. Also, Sam should start school around 8:00-8:30. Clock D shows 7:15 which we can say is the time he wakes up. Clock A shows 8:30 which is a reasonable school start time. Clock B shows midday so that leaves Clock C to be when he goes to bed.
Julie: If Julie spends no extra time at school, she should get home at 4:00. Friday's clock shows :00 so we can assume that that is when she hurried straight home. When she buys sweets we can say that takes 5-10 minutes so this will be Monday. Practicing with a band should take 45-50 minutes so she does this on Thursday. Julie plays with Sam for half an hour on Tuesday because she gets home at 4:35 which is around a half hour walk home. That leaves Wednesday for when her teacher keeps the class in for 5 extra minutes.
