I can see yellow and blue rectangles. Some of them are made out of two or more small rectangles. I started counting the small rectangles and kept on counting while increasing the number of rectangles I'm counting. If I was counting by one small rectangle, (which adds up to ten rectangles so far.) I move on to counting by two small rectangles because two small rectangles makes up another rectangle and it keeps on going. So, there is twenty-three rectangles in total.
