Shazana and I found out that the number that we get after adding the 2 digits and subtracting it by the number we had first is always a multiple of 9. All the multiples of nine have the same symbols next to it. Even though sometimes some other numbers also have the symbol and some multiples of nine do not either, there is another way of finding it. Another way is identifying the symbol next to nine, and that will always be your answer. That is how the machine guesses your symbol.
