When you think of a number, add all of the digits together and then subtract it from your original number your answer will always equal either;
9,18,27,36,45,54,63,72 or 81.
If you haven't noticed if you add the digits together on these numbers then you will always get 9, this is because these numbers are all multiples of 9. The machine doesn't 'guess' your calculation, it knows that it will always be one of these numbers, so it puts the same picture on all of these numbers.
E.g. 63 6+3=9 63-9=54
89 8+9=17 89-17=72
24 2+4=6 24-6=18
