The solution shows a table filled with 4 types of shapes: triangle(T), square(S), hexagon(H) and a circle (C). The first row on the top show T,S,S,T, which all add up to 28. 28/4 = 7 and all the shapes cannot equal the same number so estimate 6,8,8,6. The next row then shows H,S,H,S which equals 30, and if we know the squares equal to 8. 8*2 = 16, then we would do 30-16 = 14, 14/2= 7. So know we know H=7, S=8, T=6. The 3rd row then shows C,T,C,C= 18 And if we know that the triangle =6 then 18-6=12 and 12/3=4 then the circles =4. Lastly the final row shows C,S,C,C. Which equals 26= 4+8+4+4. So the question mark would equal 21.
