I noticed that to find the area of parallelograms you always do one of the diagonal sides multiplied by the base then multiply the product by 2. A simpler way to do it is base x height x 2.
This is because on isometric paper the units are "T", which are triangles. To get the area of a triangle you do b x h ÷ 2, whereas for squares you simply do b x h. Therefore, because the units are "T" you would have to double the number of triangles as it is only half.
