At first glance, I was pretty confused the way the question was presented, which seemed to me as algebra(My worst subject).Thankfully, after a clear, deep investigation of the question, I finally found a fantastic way to cut into the question. I noticed that for the first equation, e x 3 equals a number with the unit of one! I drew out my three times table chart to nine because I know that if it goes over ten, the number would be too big and therefore not able to fit in the equation. I found out that 3x7 is the only way where the answer can end in 1 within nine. Hence, e must equal 7. Using this method I found that
the the answer on the bottom is 71(e=7).What plus two (carried from twenty one) =7?
Five of course so d =5. the answer so far is:571.One is carried again. step by step using this method , I found the answer as :e=7, d=5, c=8, b=2, a=4.
