B) (√a)/(√b)=√(a/b)
Firstly, I decided to square both sides in order to remove the square roots in the numerator and denominator. This makes the equation a lot easier to tackle. This left me with: a/b=a/b. This is very similar to equation a) in the sense that both sides are equal thus making both identities. Therefore this identity can be satisfied and is true for all positive values excepting 0. This is because division by zero is an operation that it is impossible to find a answer for which is why it is disallowed. For example, if I say 6/x=0 then the reverse operation would mean that 0*x=6. No values for x would satisfy this equation as anything multiplied by zero is equivalent to zero and this is the reason for why division by zero doesn't give an answer.
