We started this problem by listing the multiples of 2, 3, and 4. We then started looking at the multiples of 2 and verbally listed the consecutive numbers after each one. Once we found a set which correlated with the criteria (a multiple of 2, a multiple of 3, and then a multiple of 4), we wrote it down. After about 6 sets, we looked at each of the numbers and saw a pattern - the first and third sets of numbers had digits in the unit place that followed a pattern of '2, 4, 6, 8, 0, 2, 4...', and the second sets of numbers followed a pattern of "3, 5, 7, 9, 1, 3, 5...". This was our solution.
