The strategy I used to get this answer was to make a list of all 10 numbers and cross out 2 at a time until I had the 2 that made 8, 5, and 3. For 14, I got 8 & 6, for 13, I got 9 & 4, for 7, I got 7 & 0, and finally, for 3, I got 1 & 2. This left me with the integers 5 & 3, which add up to 8, meaning the answer to this equation is 5 & 3.
