It doesn't matter what the target is or the range of numbers for Got It, because in the original game where 23 is the target and the range of numbers is 1 to 4, if you get the centre number up to 18 it is 5 away. The other player can only add up to 4 and is stuck as you need 5 to add to 23. This works no matter the number target or the range. You just have to make sure that on your turn you get one more away than the number range, so the computer or the other player will get close but off by one number.
