Problem A has the minute hand missing so,
Problem A: Problem A is a matter of knowing your clock hands and how there are 60 minutes in an hour. After seeing option B it was easy to see that was midday, as it was directly on the 12. Next is when he wakes up, this leads us to the next question, when he goes to school, if he goes to school at 7 and wakes up at 8 he would be late for school and I don't think that will work out for anyone. The last one is at 10 and he wouldn't be going to bed in school so that would be PM.
Problem B: Janie doesn't have an hour hand on her clock.
On Monday she went to the sweetshop and usually, she takes 30 mins to get to her house so it would have taken 5-10 minutes.
On Tuesday she played with Sam for a half hour and because it takes half an hour to get home that would cause her to get there in an hour so the time would be roughly 4:40.
On Wednesday her teacher kept her in class for 5 minutes so it would be 5 minutes later.
On Thursday she stayed in school to do band so that took her 50 minutes and would mean she got home at 5
On Friday it was raining so she hurried straight home which would take her exactly 30 minutes so would get to 4. Thank you for reading.
