1. First I did the amount of numbers (5) times the mean that i needed (4) this came to 20 and that meant that all numbers needed to be added up to to 20 if there were to be a mean of 4.
2. Second, I knew that 3 had to be the median so that would mean the third number had to be 3.
3. Third, I knew that if the number 3 were to be the mode, it would have to appear at least 2 times in the sequence of 5 numbers.
With all these things I was able to work out every sequence of different numbers, they are: 23348, 33338, 33356, 233357 and 13367.
