if I choose 5, then 4 squared is 16 and 6 squared is 36. the difference between these numbers is 20. If I choose 10, 9 squared is 81 and 11 squared is 121. The difference between these numbers is 40. I have done this once more and I have realised that as you go up the 5 times table, the difference between it neighbouring numbers squared increases by 20 each time.
