Three men go to Las Vegas and check into a hotel late at night. The night manager charges US$300 and each man forks out $100.

The next morning the day manager realises they've been overcharged by $50. He gives the bellboy $50 to return to the guests. The bellboy realises the $50 cannot be readily divided by 3 so returns $30 and pockets the remaining $20. So each guest now gets back $10 and thus have paid $90 each @ 3 = $270. The bellboy has $20 so $270 plus $20 = $290. Where did the other $10 go ?
