Whilst experimenting with the dominoes, we realized that the sum of one piece was 8. Therefore, it was not possible for each side to be 8. Then we thought, why not have the number 10 as our sum for each corner? Although, this was an issue too, as we had no more dominoes of the correct amount (2). The number 2 was needed because if one side of the square was 6+2=8, then we needed another 2 to make 10. However, we didn’t have 2. So we increased it to 12. While examining these changes once again, we managed to create a successful combination and the answer.Each side equaled to 12 (the answer).
