To me, it was obvious that the five should go in the middle because it's the biggest number and to have something equal in two spaces is possible, but a bit tricky.

I tried to put the five in the middle and put the four on top of it. Then I decided to put the one on top to make 10. Now I remained with the three and two. That made five and it didn't matter were you put them as long as they're in that column.

I found many solutions to this problem, this is just one of many!
