I noticed that it was not getting shorter, But it was falling backwards at a slow pace. When it was at the start of the video, the the rectangular bricks were not overlapping. As the wall (shape) was falling backwards, the wall started getting shorter and shorter, alas becoming a single one-level brick.
This happened because the wall had finally tumbled down.
