Hello!
My name is Miss Underhill and I teach a grade 7 class at a Canadian international school in China. 2 of my students, Ikroop and Wan, worked very systematically at this problem and came up with a solution in about 5 minutes. Impressed, I had the two girls write down the strategies they used, step by step, and take pictures along the way. I compiled everything in the attached document!
The girls are very excited to have me submit this document. My students are big fans of NRICH math tasks!
