If we make the first term in the from of (a-b)/(a+b)(a-b), we get root(2) -1.

If we continue this on the second term it will turn into root(3) -root(2). When they are added, we get root(3) -1.

As the pattern repeats, towards the end we will be left with root(100) -1, which is equal to 9.
