Hello, my name is Abigail and I solved this problem with my school. We learnt about it during lessons and everyone in my class has a solution. Here is my solution:

3 6 5 This is my first answer and I did this by putting all of the odds in the corners

2 1 4 except 1 which goes in the middle. So then put the evens correctly within

9 8 7 the odds.

Here are some of my other solutions to get a difference of an odd number:

3 8 7 5 2 9 1 2 9

2 9 6 6 7 4 4 5 6

1 4 5 3 8 1 7 8 9

This works because every odd number, the difference between them is even so it will work. Because an odd comes after an even.

To get a difference of an even number, can't work because odds can't go together. And there are only 4 even numbers when there are 5 odd numbers. So it is not possible!

That is my solution for the problem, number differences. I hope that you see my solution and I also hope that it is correct.
