1) Let's take the question 2x3+3 and say 2=b and 3=a. We can see b+1=a. Well all that's happening is ba+a= a^(2) as b-1= a and all you are doing is adding on another a to get a^(2).
2) Let's take 4,5&6. And let's call them a,b & c. 5^(2)= 25. 4x6=24. 25-24=1. The answer will always be 1 as n^(2)-(n-1)(n+1)=1.
