1. A hexagon has six equal length sides=sometimes true because an irregular hexagon just has to be 6 sided.
2. Triangles have a line of symmetry=sometimes true because an equilateral and isosceles triangle have at least one line the same as the other therefore has a line of symmetry.
3. Squares have two diagonals that meet at right angles=true because a square has four right angles and when the diagonal lines are placed they are chopped in half which makes 45 degrees and in the center there is another four right angles.
4. Cutting off the corner of a square makes a pentagon=true because it just makes a irregular shape which is five sided this shows me its a pentagon.
5. The base of a pyramid is a square=sometimes true because you can also get triangular based pyramids.
6. A cuboid has two square faces= false because it has 6 square faces.
