I think that there are going to be 25 steps because it is like a patters if you do 3 steps up and 3 steps down then you will get 9 blocks you do 3x3=9 because if you have 1 block for the first step the n you have 2 blocks next to it then you have 3 blocks next and then you repeat the same thing on the other side to the others and then you will count how many blocks you have at the end you should have 9 at the end because 3x3 is known fact and the same goes on with 4 blocks you just do 4x4=16 so you will have 16 at the end. for 5 blocks i used the same strategy for 5x5.
