I started by just putting each number on a square as I found it. I counted which column the number belonged in and then I counted across for each square.
I then tried another way. I sorted the numbers into sets where the tens were together and the twenties, etc. I was then able to quickly put each row of numbers on the square. Although the sorting took a while, it became quicker after that and was the quickest overall.
