First of all, we wrote out all of the numbers going from 0-9. Next we tried finding a possible solution for 3. We started off with 3 and 0 but found no such solution as we kept on requiring said digits for the other numbers. In the end I decided to go for 2 and 1. After that we thought it would be a good idea to try and see what solutions we could make for 7. As we had already used 2 and 1, we decided to go with 4 and 3. After that it was a simple case of trial and error and got lucky on the first try. 13 equalled 6 and 7, 14 was 9 and 5 and 8 was 8 and 0.
