we figured out that there had to be a negative number to make zero, as the only other pair was zero and zero which is a waste of numbers. we then thought that if we used 1 and -1 we could get zero. next we picked 10 as we could get 9 and 11. next we chose 5 which could help make 6, 15 and 4. finally we used 3 to make 13, 4, 2 and 8.
