Yes i agree with all of Charlie's and Alison's statements because the numbers Charlie chose are all multiples of 7 and all the answers Alison chose are all multiples of 7 add 2.
Eg. Charlie said: "It's Monday today, so it will be Monday again in 7 days..
and in 770 days...
and in 140 days...
and in 35035 days...
and in 14000000007 days!"
The numbers here are all divisible by 7 and a week is 7 days so it will mean that it will be on Monday.

Eg. Alison said: "and it will be Wednesday in 2 days...
and in 72 days...
and in 702 days...
and in 779 days...
and in 14777002 days!"
It will be easier if you think that today is Wednesday for this one so you can subtract the days by 2 and see if it is divisible by 7. It is divisible so that means it is the same day.

My similar statement would be: it wil be Monday in 5 days...
and in 75 days...
and in 705 days...
and in 726 days...
and in 1477210740 days!

My answer to the question, "If today is Monday, what day will it be in 1000 days' time?" would be Sunday because 1000/7 is 142.8571429 so multiply 142 by 7 because 142 is the number of complete weeks and you get a result of 994. The 994th day is Monday. 1000 take away 994 is 6 days which means Monday + 6 days = Sunday.
