NRICH Live for Primary and Secondary Teachers: Nurturing young problem solvers - offering opportunities for visualising and representing

Tuesday 15 October 2024, for Primary teachers, 16.00-16:50 BST

Wednesday 16 October 2024, for Secondary teachers, 16.00-16:50 BST

Mathematicians find ways of picturing what's going on, and often use different representations to help them.

In this webinar, Charlie and Liz will offer a variety of representations, and discuss how they can be used to help students make sense of situations.

More details and booking links will be available in September.

These webinars are part of our Developing Mathematical Thinking Primary and Secondary series. You may want to watch the recordings of the previous three webinars: Exploring and NoticingWorking Systematically, and Conjecturing and Generalising

School-run Maths Clubs, Maths Fairs and Family Events

Based on the popular resources enjoyed by students attending our NRICH Roadshows, these free resources enable schools to plan and deliver their own maths fairs and maths days for 5-16 year-old students (we've even included a helpful spreadsheet to support planning!).
