We first figured out what numbers we could use to make 8 this was 0+8, 1+7, 2+6, 3+5 but not 4+4 as there is only one 4. Then we tried out all the pairs and figured out only 3 out of 4 work. 2+6 did not work.

first solution:
3=1+2 7=0+7 8=5+3 13=4+9 14=6+8

second solution:
3=1+2 7=3+4 8=8+0 13=6+7 14=5+9

third solution:
3=0+3 7=2+5 8=1+7 13=9+4 14=6+8
