The first one was one eight as we could see it was half of one quarter of the rectangle.
Number 2 was 1/16 because it was half of 1/8 (number one).
Number 3 was 3/16 because we could fit 3 1/16s (number two) in it.
Number 4 was 1/16 because it was half of the one eighth it was in (two halves of number 4 were left).
5 was half of the quarter it was in so that meant it was 1/8.
Number 6 we could see was half of number 5 which was one eighth so that meant six was one sixteenth.
Number 7 was 3/32 because you could fit 3 number eights which we later found out to be 1/32.
Number 8 was 1/32 because it was the same as half of number 4.
Number 9 was 1/32 because it was a quarter of 5.
Number 10 is 1/64 because it was half of 9.
We think this pattern is related to Fibonacci sequence as each quarter has it's own pattern especially in the last quarter (bottom right).
