a) The perimeter of the small rectangle is 20.8 because in the middle of the I if you added 2 more rectangles to the side it would make a square. And I figured that a)The short rectangle equals 2.6 because if the rectangle standing up was turned around and you added 2 more on top then it would equal a whole rectangle and so I did the equation 13 divided by 5 because there are 5 rectangles and the measurement going down was 13 and that equals 2.6. Then I figured out the long side of the rectangle by doing 3 times 2.6 which equaled 7.8 and then I did 2.6 plus 2.6 plus 7.8 plus 7.8 which equals 20.8cm.
b)The perimeter of the rectangle is 16cm because I divided 60 by 5 because 5 it the amount of rectangle in the large rectangle. Then I found a equation that equals 12 so I picked 6x2 because 1 and 12 would make the rectangle to long and 3 and 4 would make the shape quite similar like a square. Then I (6+2)x2 which equaled 16cm.

c)The perimeter of the rectangle is 58mm because I did 600 divided by 6 (the amount of rectangles in the large rectangle) which equaled 100. Then I found an equation that equaled 100 so I picked 25x4 because 1 and 100 would be too small, 50 and 2 would still be quite long, 10 and 10 would by a square. etc. Then I did (25+4)x2 which equals 58.

d)The perimeter of the rectangle is 18cm because I did 180 divided by 9 (the amount of rectangles in the large rectangle) which equaled 20. Then I found an equation that equaled 20 so I picked 4x5 because the shape is quite similar to a square. Then I did (5+4)x2 which equals 18.
